 The
Darien Dermatology and Laser Center is pleased to offer the new Prestige
Parisian Peel. Sometimes referred to as "The Pre-Oscar Peel", many Hollywood
celebrities undergo this non-surgical procedure to look their best before
the Academy Awards.
It is not a chemical,
not a laser, not a surgical procedure. Instead, a gentle Prestige Parisian
Peel involves a precision hand piece, directing a stream of very fine
crystals and mild suction exactly where needed on your skin. It takes
about thirty minutes, after which you can immediately return to your
daily activities with the feel and glow of  fresher, newer skin.
The Prestige Parisian
Peel process can reduce or even erase your fine lines and wrinkles,
age spots, scars or other superficial blemishes, such as enlarged oily
pores, blackheads and whiteheads and acne scars.
Normally,
five to ten treatments are needed for optimal results. We offer several
treatment options to accommodate all skin types.
Medically, this procedure
is referred to as microdermabrasion. Many salons offer this treatment,
however, only physicians have access to the equipment, strong and powerful
enough to deliver superior results.
The new Prestige Parisian
Peel is more powerful and gives the physician a wide variety of treatment
options not available on the original equipment.
